Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has launched a Channel Selector App which will ensure the TV subscriber to change, modify and view their current plan and select what they want.

TV/DTH/Cabel subscribers can choose their own interested channels and deactivate the unwanted channels. They can get advanced arrangement and get best combination of user selected channels / bouquets in same cost or in less cost. This App allows users to modify existing subscription and check the current status of their subscription plan. The App fetches the data of Subscriber from respective DPOs platform through APIs.

You can download the steps in details provided by Trai or follow the below process :


1) Download and open the app

2) The users can starts the process by selecting their DTH or cable operator from a list provided :

  • Airtel
  • Asianet
  • InDigital
  • Dish TV
  • D2H
  • Hathway Digital
  • Siti Network
  • Tata Sky

3) Log in by entering details such as mobile number, subscriber ID or set top box number and views their current account summary. The users will be confirmed by OTP on their Registered Mobile Number (RMN). In case there is no registered mobile number available, subscriber will get OTP on his/her TV screen.

4) Finally add or delete channels of their choice and review the subscription to finally submit it. Optimize your pack before submit.

The channel selector app is available for download on Google Play Store and Apple Store. DTH and Cable TV users can see their subscription, modify subscription and set new subscription using this app.
